Tina Charles and Diana Taurasi named WNBA Players of the Week

New York center Tina Charles and Phoenix Mercury guard Diana Taurasi were named the WNBA’s Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, this week. This marks the 22nd time that Charles has been named Player of the Week in her eight-year WNBA career—tying her for most of any player in WNBA history alongside Tamika Catching.
